29 years of blessings

Twenty-nine years ago today, I started working for the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center. It was part of the Unihealth Health System in Southern California. The following 29 years would bring more than I could have ever imagined. I have been blessed beyond measure to serve this health system ever since.

A little history:

*In 1998, Unihealth became part of Catholic Healthcare West.

*2001 Catholic Healthcare West outsourced their IT department to Perot Systems. While at Perot Systems, I became a leader and experienced much career growth.

*In 2010, Dell acquired Perot Systems. I learned so much in the two years I worked for Dell, and I appreciate the many relationships I built there.

*In 2012, Catholic Healthcare West became Dignity Health and insourced our Dell team. Those were excellent years.

*In 2019, Dignity Health merged with Catholic Health Initiatives to form CommonSpirit Health.

On July 1st, I will be moving on to something new, and I am so excited for whatever this next chapter has in store. I have nothing but gratitude for my team and my time serving these organizations and this ministry. It’s been a great 29 years!
